We are thrilled to report that our Lazy B Petite Suite is collecting complimentary 5 star reviews. If you have read our blog you are aware that we have improved the sound separation between the Hideaway and the Suite and we are happy to report that our guests are enjoying the silence. When we asked our guests directly, "Could you hear our TV? What about voices?" they answered, "What TV? We didn't realize that you were even home."
We invested in this major improvement because we thought it would make the property that much BETTER. And it has!!!
Now our guests are enjoying hotel quality sound separation and privacy. Here are a couple of our recent reviews from our 2012 summer guests.
"After an all day adventure in getting to Bowen Island from Texas we were totally gob-smacked as we entered the Petite Suite and witnessed the gorgeous setting from our back door. As other reviewers have stated pictures don't justify the setting; truly exquisite. We are so very lucky to have found such an oasis away from the TX heat and Jan made it all happen. She has created a fabulous apartment for all of us to share in a beautiful and quiet setting; the color scheme inside compliments the natural colors outside. We ventured over every square inch of the island during our 4 night stay yet we spent most of our time at the Petite Suite, preferring the comforts of home. Per Jan's suggestion we stopped at Trader Joe's on our way thru Bellingham, WA for our provisions due to Snug Cove being a little pricey; yet, it has a couple of grocery stores with good selections. The islands Memorial garden and Killarney Lake are outstanding; we must and will return! Thank you again Jan for creating the Petite Suite and sharing your special place."
"The Lazy Bones Petite Suite was ideal for my getaway. Took a break from a long sojourn in Vancouver to visit family. Mainly wanted to beat the heat and the city to and fro. Found Bowen Island perfect in this regard and the Lazy Bones location was ideal. The layout and design of the suite was just about perfect. Comfortable seating and bedding. Lovely views at all times of the day. Set up for self-catering was extremely thorough and everything was spotless. Jan's little touches really added warmth. It felt like my own vacation home."
