above: vintage stevens family photo 1963 I just wanted to send a quick note to tell you what a wonderful time we had at your cottage. The cottage itself was fantastic, not to mention the stunning view from the back. We had a perfect family getaway as we spent the whole time outdoors on the beach. Either the beach just below or our quick daytrip to Bowen Bay where we made a crab hotel (sand castle) and filled it with the little crabs we found under the rocks.
The kids want to move in, honestly, so do Matt and I. We discovered the candy shop in town, checked out the toy/book store, Phoenix on Bowen, which was stocked with some of our favourite books and high quality toys.
We are already trying to figure out when we can make it back!!! We have fallen in love with your little island and I think we will be coming often for little weekend getaways. The ferry ride was great too! From door to door, it took us 1.5 hours from Coquitlam!
