Considering the large US and Canadian exchange rate difference the issue has escalated. Our Canadian guests are inquiring via VRBO or HomeAway and they are seeing really low prices.........For example: the Lazy Bowen Hideaway summer rate for 2 guests rents for $205 CAD per night.........but the VRBO listing says $144 per night. A big draw for visitors and residents of Bowen Island is the abundant nature. Everywhere you look is covered in beautiful greenery. Our guests love to escape the concrete and noise of the city for the tranquility of the forest.
